A sneezeguard (or sneeze guard) is a barrier made of Clear Cast Acrylic sheet that is intended to prevent the spread of germs or droplets containing virus especially from sneezing or coughing. 
In bakeries, canteens, as well as for the sale of food in self-service, a breath or sneeze guard is useful to prevent food contamination.
At workplaces with direct customer contact, e.g. in workshops, at cash or reception desks, sneeze guards and protection screens are recommended to meet statutory requirements; this also applies to workplaces in libraries, archives and laboratories.
